Welcome to 2025! As we step into this new year, it’s the perfect time to pause, reflect, and realign with our goals, values, and priorities. Whether you’re coming off the holiday season feeling recharged or a bit overwhelmed by everything you want to accomplish, this guide is here to help you set the tone for a successful, balanced, and fulfilling year ahead.
For women juggling the many roles of business owner, leader, mother, partner, and individual, it can often feel like there’s not enough time or energy to go around. That’s why it’s so important to create not just goals but systems that support those goals—while honoring your values and making space for the life you truly want to live.
Have you ever looked at someone’s circle of friends and thought, “I want that”? The kind of deep, soul-aligned connections where women empower each other, call each other into their greatness, and live in harmony with their values? If you’re in your 30s (or later) and still searching for your people, you’re not alone. Many women find themselves yearning for authentic friendships but unsure where to start.
The truth is, calling in the kind of relationships you crave begins with you. Here’s how to start:
Life as a woman in leadership comes with immense rewards, but it can also bring unique challenges—especially during major transitions like pregnancy, postpartum, and career shifts. Burnout, depression, and the pressures of maintaining a high-level career while navigating personal life changes can feel overwhelming. If you're a driven woman balancing leadership and family, this blog is for you.
I use this platform to empower women in all areas of life, whether that’s business, wealth, self-worth, health or wellness. Today, I want to talk about women and our menstrual cycles 🙈 This isn’t just one for the ladies! Guys, it’s super important for you to understand how a woman’s body works too 🙏
Recently I’ve been chatting with you all about some of the things we discuss in my book. But this week, I wanted to talk about something that was on my heart 💖 I find it pretty hard to be open and honest about some things in my life when I’m struggling with others.
THAT’S WHY I WANTED TO COME HERE TODAY TO TALK ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE 👇
I'm here to have a heart to heart with you 🙈 It sounds super simple and even a bit cliche –I promise it's not though!
I want to talk about women, friendships and female empowerment 👸
Before I started, I did a body scan at the gym and then retested halfway and again at the end. This was never about weight for me, I actually wanted to put on some weight, tone up and gain muscle 💪 I ended up putting on a half a kilo, and I gained centimetres around my arms, legs and butt, which I was super happy about 🤩 I lost some centimetres around my waist and I did go down in body fat too 👊
This week was an exciting milestone for me and my business. We turned five! 🙈🎂
I recently read that less than 1% of businesses around the world generate more than $1,000,000 per year in sales. This was a little yay-moment for me because not only has my business survived five years, but it’s thriving and we’re generating more than $1,000,000 every year 💸
If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a mindset and discipline challenge that goes for 75 days. two 45-minute workouts a day, drink one gallon of water, read 10 pages, stick to a diet, no alcohol / or cheat days, and take a progress picture every single day.
I recently partnered up with Lust Minerals as part of their Self Love Movement. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a huge believer of self-love. That’s because I know that it’s only when you’re looking after yourself, that you can vibrate at a higher frequency and create the life you’re dreaming about.
I think self-love starts with being compassionate and understanding towards ourselves and realising that we can’t always be hustling and achieving. Life works in ebbs and flow, and it’s super important to acknowledge that!
Set Goals on How you Want to Feel
⭐My wish for you is this year you set goals on how you want to feel, not the numbers on a scale or likes on a photo 🙅🏼♀️
⭐My wish for you is that you glow from the inside out because you nourish your body with wholefoods 🍓
⭐My wish for you is that you radiate happiness from the endorphins you release daily from moving your body (because you’re grateful you can) 🤸🏼♂️
🤶These feelings are normal…🤗
Firstly, it’s essential to acknowledge that these feelings are totally normal after the year we’ve all had. Life as we knew it was completely turned on its head 🤯 and we’ve seen changes in just about every aspect of our lifestyles.
A good indicator of your mental health is that you feel appropriate feelings. So don’t be angry at yourself for being overwhelmed, being stressed or feeling worried right now, because the fact that you’re even feeling those emotions means that you actually do have good mental health because those are all natural responses to the usual circumstances you’ve lived through this year.
You probably saw that I was celebrating my birthday recently and if I’ve ever wished you a happy birthday, you’ll know that I always ask people the same question on their birthday, “What was your biggest lesson?” 🤔… And I do the same to myself too.
Real talk. I was in a funk last week. So, I’ve decided to jump on here and share some of the things I did to pull myself out, in case you might find yourself in the same place. I shared this as an IGTV story too if you would rather watch than read! Before we get started, it’s important to realise that nothing has to happen for you to be in a funk. You might just wake up one day, and your energy might be off, it might be your time of the month, you might not be feeling inspired or be struggling to find motivation.
I wanted to chat to you about something I've been thinking a lot about lately – going the extra mile. You've probably all heard someone say, "go the extra mile because it's less crowded" and its something that I've been really pondering on personally, as well as professionally when I coach women through their own breakthroughs so I did an IGTV story about it this week.
I've come to realise that plenty of people don't see the power in going the extra mile. I believe that's because so many people underestimate themselves and overestimate everybody else. They also overestimate what they can achieve in the next year and underestimate what they can achieve in the next ten years.
Plenty of the women I mentor are curious about how I start my day, and I’m always asked about my morning routine (especially on featured podcasts - it seem’s to be a favourite rapid fire question). To be honest, I didn’t really have a meaningful morning routine when I had a full-time job. I didn’t even really become aware of the importance of starting your day with purposeful rituals until I started my own business. Before then, like many people, I would roll out of bed, get ready for work and go through the same motions every day – without having any real intention about how I wanted the rest of the day to follow.
There are plenty of people that create a lifestyle based on how much money they make. These people feel like when they start earning more money, they need to up their lifestyle to match. The more money they make the more they consume…the bigger mortgage, the newer car, the more expensive holiday or designer wardrobe just means the money flows out of the bank account almost as quick as it comes in.
I am so excited (and to be honest a tad nervous) to share with you a personal project I’ve been working on...
An uncensored blog talking about things I think a lot of us women in the 21st century are thinking… but are too scared to say out loud.
I realise how important it is to slow down when I need to. I've been journaling a lot during the past few weeks, and it's made me realise that this rest isn't a choice. I'm not sure if I was on the verge of burn out, but I just have no more gas left in the tank – mentally, spiritually and physically.
I think this happens because so many women in the Western world do what they believe they are supposed to do or what they think society expects them to do. It might be to go to university, get a job, settle down, have a career, have 1.5 kids, get a mortgage or to own a house with a white picket fence, but these expectations are literally everywhere we turn.
Life is pretty busy, huh! You've got your career, brilliant ideas to share with the world, a side hustle to manage, sleep to catch up on, exercise to power through, and a to-do list that just never seems to end. 24-hours in a day sounds like we've got plenty of time to get through everything, but sometimes it just gets away from us, the weeks add up and before you know it you're halfway through the year.
Hello lovely, how are you?
I wanted to drop in and see how you're going. I know it's a crazy time in the world at the moment. I hope you're staying safe and healthy. I also know it is a stressful time financially for a lot of families and small businesses right now, so I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Hey beautiful people! I hope you’re having a great start to 2020. Can you believe we are already half way through February? It’s crazy how fast time is flying. We got our wedding photos back last week and my heart is full reminiscing on our magical day, with our nearest and dearest. After sharing our photos with our friends and family I thought it was only fair I kept my promise and shared all the details with you too (especially for you engaged ladies out there planning weddings - I know there is lots to organise and things we want to pick other brides brains about), so hopefully this helps.
They love the idea of creating a smart second income online, or totally changing their profession and working alongside a team of inspiring and passionate women and are excited to enjoy all the fun, personal development, support, community, connection, purpose and travel that comes with being welcomed part of our Babes in Business team. But then they learn more about our business distribution model and think "it is one of THOSE things", and decide it’s not for them (maybe this is even you, or someone you know who has already looked into joining our amazing team).
I think a lot of it has to do with work life balance. Once upon a time, work for most of us, was done living life. It was hunting, growing and cooking our food, teaching our children, building our homes - we would have time for joy, connection, family, the outdoors, exercise and hobbys sprinkled throughout our day. 🌻🍃
I hope you are feeling energised and excited for 2020 after having some quality time with your loved ones over the Christmas Break (I also hope you and your family are safe from the Aus bushfires) all my love, light and strength is being sent out to my fellow Aussies, our country and wildlife right now) and a reminder to open your heart, wallets and home where you can.
7 books that have transformed my relationship with money.
because trust me when I say - I’ve definitely come along way since first starting my business four years ago. I never actually even thought of starting a business! I had gone through school and studied really hard to get a scholarship.
We wanted to do something about the health and happiness epidemic and wanted to get rid of that bandaid, help people get back to basics, and looking at prevention....knowing that most of these diseases could have been prevented with small, educated and healthier lifestyle choices and a more positive + supporting community.
Do you beat yourself up about not being happy all the time? Do you feel guilty that no matter how hard you try or how amazing things may be in life - that you’re not over the moon ‘ecstatic’ even though you know you should be?
